8. Manaslu Base Camp Trek (Nepal)

Stacked stones on rocky terrain with snowy mountains and clear blue sky.

Trek Overview

Manaslu, the world’s eighth‑highest peak, is known as the “Mountain of the Spirit.” This trek circles the Manaslu massif, crosses the dramatic Larkya La Pass, and immerses you in rich Tibetan Buddhist culture. Along the way, you’ll visit ancient monasteries and Gurung and Tibetan villages, moving from lush forests and terraced fields into striking high‑altitude terrain near Manaslu Base Camp. With sweeping views of Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and the Annapurna range, this route offers a rewarding, less‑crowded alternative to the Annapurna Base Camp trek.
